World Water Day is about highlighting the need for access to clean water for all. In 2021, the focus of the campaign is on how we value water and what it means to us.
In the everyday, access to clean water can mean health, hygiene and enable us to work or study.
Water is also vital for our environment, wellbeing, community and culture. And in the current Covid-19 pandemic, clean water is essential for handwashing.
Today, water is under increasing threat from climate change. Droughts, rising seas and flooding all affect people’s access to clean water.
Please watch and share the video I made below, highlighting the need for access to clean water for everyone.
785 million people lack access to #cleanwater and climate change is making access to clean water even harder.
